❄️ Coming Soon: Midwinter's Eve
✨ A serialized novel about growing up, falling in love, and holding on to the wonder that refuses to fade. 📅 First chapter arrives Sunday, September 7th
What if getting older didn‘t mean losing your sense of magic?
What if wonder never truly left, it just waited quietly to be remembered?
Midwinter‘s Eve is a coming-of-age love story wrapped in snow, stitched with memory, and lit by the quiet glow of belief.
Nicolas Perrin is a boy who feels things deeply, joy, stories, and snowflakes on his tongue.
Christmas hits him differently. Always has.
He grows older, but he never grows out of it.
Eve is bright, curious, and kind. She believes in what‘s real, and for a while, that means leaving childish things behind.
Until life throws her into something she can‘t navigate with logic alone.
And Nicolas is there, just when she needs someone who hasn‘t forgotten how to believe.
Midwinter‘s Eve is their story.
It‘s about finding each other.
About the magic in mittens passed down through generations.
About ornaments with secret names, and lights that blink in code.
It‘s about the ache of letting go, the courage of beginning again,
and the quiet truth that love, like wonder, is something we carry,
not something we outgrow.
This story is for:
✨ Anyone who feels something stir during a quiet moment in December
🎄 The ones who still leave out cookies just in case
❤️🩹 The ones who say they’ve stopped believing… but still catch themselves wishing anyway
✨ A small taste from Chapter 1:
He crawls underneath the Christmas tree, and it’s like he’s entering another world. The branches hang low and heavy, brushing his hair as he slides in. It’s darker under here, but the lights are brighter somehow — like stars behind a curtain of green.
He pulls the blanket from the couch over his legs and folds his arms behind his head. From this angle, the tree looks endless, like a world turned upside down. The ornaments dangle like treasure maps and spells.
And Nicolas Perrin, age seven, lying under a tree on Christmas Eve with a blanket on his legs and mittens on his hands, smiles like the world just gave him a secret.
I’ll be releasing Midwinter’s Eve one chapter at a time, beginning 📅 Sunday, September 7th 📅, right here on KringleSpirit.com
It’s the most personal thing I’ve ever written.
A story pulled from the part of me that still believes.
And I hope it reaches the part of you that’s been waiting to be remembered.
